Formato del Examen # 2.

El examen # 2 está diseñado para ayudarlos a preparar sus presentaciones. Va a estar dividido en dos partes.

La primera parte tendrá lugar durante la clase del Martes 13 de abril. Para esa clase, cada alumno deberá presentar un prospecto del tema de la presentación final que ha elegido. La presentación durará unos 5 a 7 minutos, y luego el resto de la clase, y también el instructor, hará preguntas al alumno expositor. El prospecto tendrá aproximadamente una página (times new roman, 12, doble espacio). El prospecto será una síntesis del tema que van a exponer durante la presentación final, acompañado de una bibliografía (al menos deberán consultar 2 autores (libros, películas, o artículos).
Cada alumno deberá entregar al instructor una copia en papel del prospecto.

El alumno que no presente su prospecto el martes 13, no podrá tomar la segunda parte del examen el día jueves 15 de abril.

Finalmente, el día 15 de abril, el instructor propondrá una pregunta para cada alumno (a partir de los prospectos individuales) para que el alumno desarrolle y responda en forma escrita.
El examen será a libro abierto.

Estaré en mi oficina el lunes a partir de las 2:30 PM y hasta las 4, por si quieren verme.



The second exam has been designed following a format that will help the students to prepare their final presentations. The exam will be divided into two parts.

The first part will take place Tuesday, April 13. During this class, every student will present a prospect of his-her final presentation: theme, title, main ideas, etc. Each presentation should last around 5 to 7 minutes. After each presentation, the rest of the class (an also the instructor) will ask questions to the student who just presented.
The prospect must have approximately 1 page (times new roman, 12, double spaced). The prospect should include a tentative bibliography (at least, it must include 2 authors: movies, books or articles). Every student will turn in a print out of the prospect.

Every student must attend the class on Tuesday AND present the print out of the prospect in order to take the written part (second part) of the exam.

Finally, the second part (the written part) of the exam will take place on Thursday, April 15. On that day, I will propose each student a question based on the prospect they presented on Tuesday.
